June 2014 Events at Lake of the Ozarks

June is always a great time to head to the Beautiful Lake of the Ozarks for a Lake Vacation!! Usually by June the Missouri Weather has settled into a warm pattern, the Lake Water is refreshing and there are plenty of GREAT events for the entire family.   Here are a few of the events you won't want to miss! 

• Lake Race 2014 June 2-8 - Power boats from all over come to Lake of the Ozarks to compete for their share of the Prize Money. Viewing is available on the Dam as well as many sponsoring establishments. Boats will run from the 0 mile marker to the 6 mile marker. For more information visit www.lakerace.com.
• Canine Cannonball June 6-8 The annual Dock Dogs jumping contest is held at Dog Days Bar & Grill again this year. Canine athletes compete in Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieve at this family friendly event. For information on entering your dog contact Dog Days at 573-348-9797. Free admission. 
• The 21st Annual Testicle Festival June 7 - This is a huge day long cook-off of deep fried turkey testicles, booths, dancing and carnivals.  Located in the heart of Olean Missouri, this festival draws thousands of locals and visitors. 
• Hot Summer Nights June 13 - On the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark from 6-11 pm (rain or shine).  Free admission and participation.  All makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles will line the Strip and cruise around.  www.cruisehotsummernights.com
• Support our Troops Poker Run June 26-29 - See all the big boats gather at the Lake for this fun filled poker run! www.midwestboatparty.com
